On Monday, October 20, a campus newspaper reported that presidential candidate John McCain’s daughter Meghan McCain visited Boston College for a meet-and-greet last Thursday. During the talk, McCain emphasized the point that there was no one issue in the election that she weighed as most important for young adults. The McCain campaign has released a flurry of advertisements in the last month promoting John McCain’s support for stem cell research. In the past McCain’s support has extended even to embryonic stem cell research, a practice consistently opposed by the teaching of the Catholic Church. Source: BC Heights
