Since 2007, The Cardinal Newman Society has been sharing the Vatican-sponsored "Eucharistic Miracles of the World" exhibition with college students across the country.
The exhibit consists of more than 100 large display panels which vividly portray bleeding hosts and miraculous wonders from documented historical events. For an example of the exhibit, you can click here
to view the panel that shows the Eucharistic Miracle of Lanciano, Italy.
We have brought the Eucharistic Miracles exhibit to Georgetown University, The Catholic University of America, and the University of Notre Dame, just to name a few campuses. Last semester, Loras College in Iowa hosted the Miracles and students were wowed by it. After viewing the exhibit, one student told us:
It was a beautiful opportunity to be able to see a display about so many Eucharistic miracles. Some people don’t believe in the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist, so I look forward to sharing some of the things I read in hopes that they will someday fully embrace the truth. These miracles are amazing and beyond our comprehension, but knowing that the Eucharist really is the Flesh and Blood of Jesus should make us want to run to Mass and Adoration! After all, a wonderful King awaits us.
If you or someone you know may be interested to bring the Eucharistic Miracles exhibit to a college campus, please send us an email (blogger [at] cardinalnewmansociety [dot] org) or call us at 703-367-0333, ext. 102.

As a side note, we also wanted to point out a related book that was published last year in honor of the Year for Priests. The Catholic Priest, Image of Christ
is a collection of 560 paintings on the Catholic priesthood and the Eucharist which the editor described as "a kind of illustrated Catechism." It portrays the universal Church with priests from all periods of the history of art.
The Catholic Priest, Image of Christ
contains an introduction by the Holy Father and Cardinal Media, the editor informed us. It also includes several texts on the holiness and and charity of the priest as well as two chapters on the Mass. You can purchase the book here
. For more information, watch this Rome Reports segment
on the book.
