Notre Dame Ethics Conference Features Christendom Profs

Three professors from Christendom College delivered papers at a conference sponsored by the Notre Dame Center for Ethics and Culture, which was held November 6-8. History professor Dr. Christopher Shannon’s paper was entitled “What Does It Take? Community and Family in Contemporary American Political Discourse.” English Professor Dr. Thomas Stanford and his wife Mary Stanford, an adjunct professor of theology, delivered papers on “Family and Community in the Novels of Wendell Berry” and “Authority in Marriage," respectively. According to the Christendom press release, “Internationally known theologians Dr Michael Waldstein and Dr. Janet Smith attended Mrs. Stanford’s presentation and praised her work.” Source: Christendom College
