Many Catholic colleges (especially those promoted at TheNewmanGuide.com) frequently bring Church leaders to campus for the yearly commencement exercises. Thomas Aquinas College is no exception.
Over the past eleven years, Thomas Aquinas College has welcomed to campus six Cardinals, each of whom stands a chance of being elected Pope within the month of March. All six have served as commencement speakers and all received the College's highest honor, the Saint Thomas Aquinas Medallion.
The College has provided links on its website to commencement addresses given by Raymond Cardinal Burke, Marc Cardinal Ouellet, George Cardinal Pell, Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith, Francis Cardinal Arinze, and Christoph Cardinal Schönborn.
Go to the Thomas Aquinas College website to also read homilies and interviews from several of the Cardinals. Additionally, the College has published online a great Novena prayer for the cardinal electors written by its chaplain, Fr. Cornelius M. Buckley, S.J.
Thomas Aquinas College is recommended by the Cardinal Newman Society at TheNewmanGuide.com for its strong Catholic identity.
