Campion College has unveiled a new promotional video about the liberal arts education offered by the College. The video stresses the benefits of a liberal arts education at Australia's only Catholic liberal arts college.
"Education viewed merely as job training, can actually trap students in a single career track, which they often have to choose way too early, and they often end up in programs that they simply don't enjoy," says Ryan Messmore, president of Campion College.
"The purpose of education is to teach students how to think," adds Messmore.
Liberal arts at Campion includes: history, philosophy, literature, theology, science, and math.
"These are the disciplines that help teach students how to think critically, communicate effectively and understand the world in which they live," says Messmore. "A liberal arts education liberates students from a single career track."
Campion College is recommended by TheNewmanGuide.com for its strong Catholic identity.
