Christendom in Dominican Republic on Mission for 2 Months

This past summer 19 students and alumni from Christendom College spent two months serving the people of Banica, Dominican Republic. Since the start of the Mission Trips Program in 2000, Christendom has completed 18 different mission trips, 12 of which have been to Banica. Over the years of missionary work Christendom students have built seven chapels, renovated churches, repaired roofs, built outhouses, delivered food and medical supplies to over 30 small villages, and offered religious and sporting camps for hundreds of local children. Fr. Daniel Gee, Christendom College’s new chaplain, arrived this summer following 5 years as pastor of the Banica mission. Source:
