This past Sunday, more than 35,000 Catholics of all ages gathered on the grounds of the Cleveland, Ohio, diocesan seminaries for The Fest:an all-day Catholic family festival with games, activities, entertainment with Catholic musician Matt Maher, the opportunity for confession, and Mass.
The Fest highlighted Catholic education with an “Education Village” to reflect the “Fest’s strong belief in the importance of Catholic education for all learners from pre-Kindergarten all the way through adulthood.”
Included in the Education village were Aquinas College and the Franciscan University of Steubenville, which is located in Ohio. Both of these institutions are recommended by The Cardinal Newman Society as faithful Catholic colleges.
With the Education Village in the “heart of The Fest grounds,” Catholic students and their parents were able to spend some time during the jam-packed day of fun and faith to ask questions and learn more about attending a Catholic college.
