The Rev. Timothy R. Lannon, S.J. ,president of Creighton University, was released from the hospital yesterday after nearly a weeklong stay after feeling ill during Mass on Thanksgiving, according to Omaha.com.
The Jesuit-run university’s leadership sent out a communication to faculty, staff, alumni and students announcing that Fr. Lannon, who turned 63 this week, is expected to take off the rest of the month to relax and visit family.
Fr. Lannon became president of Creighton in 2011.
Please keep Fr. Lannon and his full recovery in your prayers.
