CNS recently sent a letter congratulating Fr. George Rutler on constructing the first shrine in the U.S. dedicated to John Henry Cardinal Newman.  The shrine will be blessed by New York Archbishop Timothy Dolan on September 23, four days after Newman's beatification by Pope Benedict XVI.  We are grateful to New Liturgical Movement for permitting us to display these conceptual drawings of the Newman shrine:
