Aquinas College Students Lay Foundations for Study Abroad Program

A small group of students from Aquinas College in Nashville, Tenn., is serving as a pilot group for a future study abroad program in Italy, according to the College’s website.

The College has reportedly come into possession of a property called the Villaggio Betania, located in the medieval lakeside town of Bracciano, about 30 miles northwest of Rome.

While in Italy, students in the pilot group will “help with basic renovations [of the property] and research the opportunities and challenges of the study abroad program.”

The students are keeping a blog of their adventures, recently sharing about their experience visiting the tomb of Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati.

Aquina sCollege is recommended in The Newman Guide for its strong Catholic identity.
