Walsh University in North Canton, Ohio, will host all-night Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament later today, June 27, to mark the creation of the new Our Lady of Perpetual Help Society on campus, the University reported.
The society, named after the patroness of the University’s founding order, was created, according to the University, to “reinforce Walsh University's Catholic identity through Catholic programming and activities, scholarship support for Catholic students, and other operational needs that help foster a community of faith.”
Eucharistic Adoration will be held in honor of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, whose respective feasts are today and tomorrow.
In addition to Adoration, the University community will take part in Night Prayer, a Eucharistic Procession and Mass for the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Walsh University is recommended in The Newman Guide for its strong Catholic identity.
