The eighth annual University of Dallas Ministry Conference (UDMC) is scheduled later this year from October 23 - 25, announced the University on its website. This year the conference will feature a four part session on technology and media that will discuss the use of media in the new evangelization and other ministry improvements.

"The University of Dallas Ministry Conference is a powerful opportunity for Catholics to grow in faith together through prayer, fellowship and education," says University of Dallas President Thomas Keefe on the University website, "I would encourage everyone who is able to attend to consider doing so."

Throughout its course, the conference will hold more than 200 sessions for deacons, liturgical ministers, as well as parish and school leaders. Topics such as faith formation, scripture, evangelization, liturgy, social justice, parenting, and technology will be addressed in three different languages – English, Spanish, and Vietnamese. In addition, UDMC will host more than 100 exhibitors, a liturgical arts display, musical performances, Mass, and prayer services.

The University reports that UDMC is co-sponsored by the dioceses of Dallas and Fort Worth and will be held at the Irving Convention Center in Irving, Tex..
