The University of Dallas recently brought Fr. Matthew Lamb, a theologian lauded for integrity, intelligence and orthodoxy, to campus for the Sixth Annual John Paul II Lecture.
Fr. Lamb is chair of the Theology Department at Ave Maria University in Florida. His talk last week at University of Dallas titled “Blessed John Paul II on the Millennial Challenges Facing Catholic Intellectual Life” considered the ways in which the late pontiff’s thought is of urgent importance in light of current intellectual challenges.
From the UD press release:
“Fr. Lamb is one of the most renowned American Catholic theologians and is widely respected in all circles,” said Christopher Malloy, University of Dallas associate professor of theology. “He combines personal integrity, intellectual vigor and authentic Catholic orthodoxy and piety.”
