Benedictine University’s new “Theology in Life” certificate program will give students a new opportunity to study Theology in a way that relates to other disciplines. The certificate includes a course examining the concept of “God is Love” as the basis for all theological work; a course studying the concept of freedom as it relates to the problems of evil, human action and creativity; a course examining the idea of justice in relation to the redeeming death of Christ and issues of individual and social justice; and also a course studying the relationship of faith and reason. Benedictine has reported an increased interest in theological studies at the undergraduate level. Source: InsideHigherEd.com
