(12/22/08) Law School also set to attend play which deconstructs religious norms
St. John’s University Law School’s Ronald H. Brown Center for Civil Rights and Economic Development Reception will be held in San Diego on January 7, 2009. The center, which has been holding events since 2005, and the reception are named after pro-abortion, former DNC Chairman, Ronald H. Brown. Brown made abortion a central plank in the 1990 Democratic platform. The New York Times reported in 1990 that Brown warned the state of Louisiana that if they passed “anti-abortion” legislation, it would hurt the state’s chances of being the site for the 1992 Democratic National Convention.
