Thomas Aquinas College (TAC) in Santa Paula, Calif., a Newman Guide “Faithful and Affordable” institution, witnessed the completion of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity Chapel as Cardinal Roger Mahoney celebrated its Dedication Mass last Saturday, March 7. Three other bishops, two abbots, and more than 40 priests (14 of whom are alumni) were also present at the dedication. The Mass, which was said in the ordinary form in English, primarily included hymns sung in Latin by the TAC choir and schola. Later that day Adoration and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament graced the newly consecrated structure. On Sunday, March 8, Holy Mass was said in the extraordinary form, offered by Fr. John Berg, a TAC alumnus and the Superior General of the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter. “Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity Chapel will be a statement in stone, as it were, for our students and for all who visit our campus, that Thomas Aquinas College is resolved to remain ever loyal to the Vicar of Christ and faithful to the teaching Church,” said college president Dr. Thomas E. Dillon. Source: California Catholic Daily
