Watch Video Clips of CNS Sponsored "Modest Proposals"

On November 13, The Ethics and Public Policy Center, in collaboration with the Cardinal Newman Society, presented a unique talk featuring Wendy Shalit (Girls Gone Mild, A Return to Modesty), Dr. Miriam Grossman (Unprotected: A Campus Psychiatrist Reveals How Political Correctness in Her Profession Endangers Every Student), Dawn Eden (The Thrill of the Chaste), and Laura Sessions Stepp (Unhooked: How Young Women Pursue Sex, Delay Love, and Lose at Both) in “MODEST PROPOSALS: A Conversation About Sex on Campus.” Joining them with the perspective of a recent college graduate was Cassandra DeBenedetto, founder of Princeton University’s Anscombe Society, the first official Ivy League club affirming the importance of the family, marriage, and a proper understanding of the role of sex and sexuality.
